Vaccination - The Hidden Truth

Vaccination - The Hidden Truth (1998) (This is a video)

This is the shocking but extremely informative video documentary Vaccination - The Hidden Truth (1998) where fifteen people, including Dr. Viera Scheibner (a PhD researcher), five medical doctors, other researchers, reveal what is really going on in relation to illness and vaccines. Ironically, the important facts come from the orthodox medicine's own peer-reviewed research. With so much government and medical promotion of vaccination for prevention of disease, the video is clearly devoted to presenting the other side of the issue that parents and others are not being told. The result is a damning account of the ineffectiveness of vaccines and their often harmful effects. It declares that parents are not being told the truth by the media, the Health Department and the medical establishment, with a medical doctor, Dr. Mark Donohoe, confessing that "It is a problem for me that I am part of a profession that is systematically lying to people?". Find out how vaccines are proven to have harmful effects to your health and why do we still have to be vaccinated although there is no real need for it. Although many people simply refuse to believe this, the impeccable documentation presented in this amazing video has changed the minds of many who saw it. 90 min

Denmark an Example After Transfat Ban

America, as well as the whole world, needs to follow Denmark's example in regards to eliminating transfat.

Denmark an Example After Transfat Ban

By MARIA CHENGAP Medical Writer
COPENHAGEN, Denmark

Two years ago Denmark declared war on killer fat, making it illegal for any food
to have more than 2 percent transfats. Offenders now face hefty fines _ or even
prison terms. The result? Today hardly anyone notices the difference.

And the closing remarks:

Stender and other health experts say Denmark's transfat ban should be adopted
worldwide.
"There's no reason it cannot be done elsewhere," he said,
explaining that the food in Denmark is not markedly different from food anywhere
else. "If you removed transfat from the planet, the only people who would feel
the difference are the people who sell the transfat."

Weight Check & Missing Kittens

Woohoo!
I weighed myself at Jeremy's parents' house Sunday night and I'm now at 140lbs! yay! That's 5 lbs below pre-pregnancy weight. I know that still sounds like a lot... and it is... esp. for my height... but, here's a picture of me from today.

Still have some weight to lose to make myself happy.

**Please refrain from looking at the background... LOL

Yes, I realize that by saying that, it makes you look even more... LOL But, what you see behind me is part of our PC area... the side of it has been removed and its no longer crashing... guess it needed some air? Against the door is a working treadmill. And that's our sofa with clothes on it that needed to be picked up. Oh, and of course, by my feet is one of Ursula's many babies.
And yes, I have a white bra on... once you're so big, you don't get a great assortment of bras to choose from. Most are white and big enough to wear as hats.

I'm So PISSED!!!

My kittens have all disappeared.

Its like they were taken by two's.
My last two disappeared the other day.
I kept hoping that they'd return but nooooo they haven't.

And it was the white one that I wanted to keep!!!
And that little tabby, he was sooo sweet! He'd purr whenever you'd pet him! While we were gone the other weekend, Jeremy thought they were missing then but they weren't. They returned that Sunday night. That's why I keep waiting and calling them but nothing :(

These are the last pictures I had taken of them (Oct. 20th, 2006). That next day, they were gone :(( :(( :(( I'm wondering if either our landlord or his son has anything to do with this. We had plans to give them all away except for this white one. Its not like we were going to be keeping all 6 kittens along with 2 adults... we already had people that wanted them. I think someone took them. I mean, come on... 2 at a time were gone for the most part. One was killed, I know that, saw it... but, the others? There's no sign of their demise. Pisses me off. I just know that someone is behind it; intentionally taking our kittens without letting us know.

Blast From the Past

From almost exactly 3 yrs ago... I finally got 7 rolls of film developed from my now defunct 35mm camera. I've only scanned in a few though. I'll be bringing the rest to show the family tonight :)
Here's Xavier and Calista on Oct. 26th, 2003:
Here's Ursula and Xander, also on Oct. 26th, 2006:
(Ursula's almost the same age in these pics as Wyatt is now)
She's kissing him; isn't that sweet? Well, at least she wasn't biting him...

Here's Ursula and Olivia:

Me and Ursula on Oct. 26th, 2006:

No double chin here! woohoo! Something to look forward to!

Jeremy and Ursula:

Calista, Jeremy, and Ursula sleeping at Jared and Jessica's:

Calista and Ursula:
BTW, Wyatt does that same thing; through his arms up like that! And most of the time, after he raises them up like that, he falls foward on someone... or lunges :D Its so cute :D

Calista's hair looks so cute like that...

Ursula, me, and Olivia:
Look at my face! I like the no-fat look! lol

Visiting Cousins

This is Gene with some of our kids. Gene's a friend of the family and very helpful with watching the kids at Racquelle's soccer game... a good 'Manny' to have around :D LMAO

We went this past weekend and will be going back this coming up weekend (wow! Two weekends in a row??? Must be a record or something??? LOL).

We're going to see Racquelle's last soccer games for this season, for Jessica's 26th bday (scary Friday the 13th), and to pick up our cell phones!!! Woohoo! We're finally getting some! Everyone else I know already has one and has been having one!
Xavier (Jessica's oldest) and Calista watching TV (of course!).

Calista and Racquelle playing :D
Racquelle will be 10 next month.

Ummm.... I have NO idea why this picture won't load up the whole way... I've tried many times to get it right but it just isn't working... guess its not so bad since you can see all of the kids anyways... (click on it and you can see it fullsized)
I took this picture at the park near where my sis, Cherie, works. Just her kids and mine there with me, our mom, and Gene (a family friend).

The kids had such a good time!

This is a really nice park too!

This picture was taken by Jessica... its me and Veronica :)

Doncha just love that double chin I have??? Gosh, I need to get that thing sucked out surgically, huh? ewww...

Wyatt and Veronica - almost a month apart in age.

Jessica took these two pictures of Ursula and Olivia with my camera this past Friday when we (me and the kids) went visit.
Olivia is 4 (as of September) and Ursula is still 3 yrs old; until right before Christmas.

FreeCycle is Awesome!

Yay for Freecycle!

I now have a KitchenAid dish washer!!! Woohoo! I had my neighbor pick it up yesterday and since Jeremy stayed home from work today (said there was nothing to do there), he's installing it today.

Yeah, and you can see Wyatt's reflection in it too :D
What's cool is that it matches our stove! hehehe
We haven't washed dishes in it yet; need to buy some detergent but it seems to be working just fine! AND it was clean inside! Of course, I'll do a cycle of bleach just to make sure!
In other news...
I got in my $50 Wal-Mart gift certificate! Where did it come from? Mypoints.com! Finally, after clicking hundreds of emails, I was able to accumulate enough to have them send me a gift card! I could have gotten a card for other places, but since I rarely ever go into Lafayette, I might as well get one for where we frequent, huh?
Not sure what I'll get with it... I was thinking that maybe I'll get us a new comforter for our bed. Or sheet set for Calista and Ursula's bunkbeds (that actually match each other)... then, I was thinking that maybe I should just get something for myself since I'm always getting stuff for others in my family... I don't know... I'll see and post when I do it.

My Pretty White Kitty

He's so pretty... just have to figure out a name for him... one that I haven't already used in the past or one that isn't so cliche'... any ideas???
Leave a comment if you think of a good one and I might use it to name him!
Here are our two white kitties together, playing of course.

The Lastest

Well, Jeremy has a new employer and is happy and actually going in to work! woohoo!
There's even a guy that lives close-by to us that Jeremy can carpool with! That same guy gave Jeremy the truck pictured below (as well as those nice wheels and rims in the bed)! Its not in running condition; guy says it needs an engine... but, hey, that's fine! Jeremy can handle that! And now, we'll have a truck! Its a 4 cyl which is great for Jeremy's work commute. And now we won't have to ask others to haul stuff for us! yay! Its also a stick shift. Has small seats in the back which work just fine for the kids... will fit carseats.
The guy was gonna give it to another co-worker but he didn't like him very much and decided to give it to Jeremy instead :)

And here's the white kitty I'm going to keep from Momma Cat's 3rd litter of kits (still have Tiger from her first - the others were given away and her 2nd batch disappeared). Isn't he so pretty? His eyes are such a beautiful shade of blue... I didn't capture that in this photo though :(

Anyways, he has 3 brothers (another white one but with stripes on his legs), and one sister (who is soooo super soft and sweet). I know we have one already given away (Brandy) and maybe one of our neighbors will take another one since her daughter, McKenzie wants one.

Our washing machine went out at the end of last week (mine from my marriage to John; so, its about 10 yrs old). Today, Jeremy's mom picked me and the kids (except for Calista since she's in school) up to go buy a used one in Lafayette. So, now we have a 'new' one :D Its nice :) Its a Whirlpool, super capacity, large tub (the lady that owns it says she has one just like and it can easily handle washing comforters), and 7 cycles and 2 speeds. :D She gives a 30 day warranty. Paid $150 for it. She said if the motor does go out in 45 days, she'll just give us another machine... but, she said it shouldn't. I'm happy :) I'm happy that Jeremy made enough last week to pay the rent, pay a few bills, buy some clothes from an outlet mall, pay for a 'new' washing machine, and buy some groceries... all with some money still left over until Friday(next payday)! Amazing what happens when he actually goes to work, huh? :) lol

Ursula wanted to spend the day with her grandma (aka Mimi), so Jeremy'll pick her up on his way home from work... so, its just me and my sleeping baby on my back... LOL

Oh, the landlord said that our rent will increase by $50 starting in October. woohoo :( Oh well... we have been here for 5½ yrs now... guess that should be expected.

Its getting on my nerves... LOL I have some new pics of myself that I'd like to blog... much better than the ones I've been putting up on here... lol You can see them at MySpace (which has been consuming some of my time now) or at my Yahoo folder (not sure that link will work... if not, go here and click to the right where the photos are shown).

No Make-Up Me

Yep, this is me as I look almost all the time... LOL No make-up and hair up in a hair clip... and notice my messed up eyebrows! lol Those are one of 2 things I am not happy about on my face... my eyebrows and my eyelashes.

Maybe the next few pics I put up with be with me fixed up (meaning hair fixed and make-up on and maybe even some decent clothes!) :D

At least my face isn't all swollen like it was a couple of weeks ago from that abcess under my tooth... and you can also see I've lost a few more pounds... not sure exactly how much; but it shows in a slightly less fat face! ha ha ha Double chin is deminishing! yay! I hate that thing! :D

I do know that I fit in one of my size 6 shorts! woohoo! Yay me! I have breastfeeding and child-chasing to thank for that... lol Okay, okay, I have been doing some crunches whenever I remember to; need to get my flat belly back... oh how I miss that! Notice I have some color to my face? Thanks to the little swimming pool we bought a couple of weeks ago! My girls also have some color! They look so cute with it!

Anyways, one of these days, I'll post a pic of me all made up and in a cute outfit to show my weight loss thus far... still more lbs and inches to go though!

You Drunk As Hell

You Drunk As Hell

Thanks to Jessica for this link :D

Exchange Accomplished!

I'm ever so happy to report that I was able to exchange my camera (that no longer accepted batteries... ? no idea why it stopped) for another at Wal-Mart! Of course, they no longer carry the same one (the Z740) so, I went with the P850. Its 5.1 MP but with a 12x optical zoom. Its the performance series camera (one of 3).

I love it as well! I had to pay the difference ($55). It is really nice... lots of cool features. I can actually use (buy) lenses and filters for it as well as a zoom flash! If I were to get them, it would be somewhere in the future as those cost $150/piece... but, its cool to know I can get them if I wanted to! And since its an EasyShare, I can still get the nice printer that goes along with it :D The compatible ones range from $119 to $500. I'm excited! I have a camera again! (Again, a HUGE thanks to Kimber! BTW, Kimber, I had sent you a little thank-you gift; well, to the address on my package, and it came back to me!)

Tooth Extraction

Background:
Back when I was living at home, as a teen (around 18yrs old), I had an amalgam filling in one of my upper, left side molars (I have these 'pits' that apparently is in the genes).
Well, before I conceived Wyatt, that molar fell out. I have it in my jewelry box. And my tooth has gotten progressively worse as the time went on but I really didn't have any pain associated with it.
The night of July 3rd, I could feel my cheek & gum swelling up while I was in bed. That next morning, my left cheek was swollen up. I look totally deformed. Of course, being that yesterday was July 4th, no dentists were open.
I asked Jeremy to bring me today (so, yes, he missed out on working today for me). This place in Palmetto takes walk-ins until 12pm and its also were Jeremy went for his extraction last year; the least expensive in the phone book. So, we left the house around 9am with kids in tow.
It took a while before I was called in, maybe 30 minutes or so. Then, I sat in the dental chair for probably another 30 minutes. A nurse took my x-ray and for some reason, afterwards, my cheek started hurting a little bit. I wonder if there was any connection between the x-ray or if the thing to take the x-ray did it...
So, this petite dentist lady comes in and talks to me. She tells me usually, if there's this much swelling, they do antibiotics first and then make another appointment for the extraction. The reason being is that the numbing agents sometime doesn't numb the gums if there's too much swelling. She said that she could try but if she reached the cut-off for the amount of numbing agent she could administer to a patient and I was still feeling pain, she'd have to stop and let me make a 2nd appointment.
I asked her if she could go ahead and try extracting the tooth while I was there since I wasn't sure how long it would be before I could go back... I didn't want to have to drive afterwards; esp. if I was in pain... plus, I have NO idea how to get there... LOL
So, that's what we did.
The numbing worked and she was able to remove my tooth... she broke it in 3 pieces to do that.
I have 2 prescriptions. One for Lortabs and the other for Clindamycin.
I just looked up on Kellymom.com for info on breastfeeding and taking these meds. They both are rated the same as far as being 'moderately safe'.
Anyways, I haven't eaten yet today; just water and juice. Supposed to have a soft diet for 24 hrs.
Yes, it hurts.
I can't wait for the swelling to go down.
And no pics... not just because of my vanity but because my camera isn't working. Jeremy said to just pack it up and bring it to Wal-Mart... good idea, huh? They're really good about exchanging stuff.
