No Make-Up Me

Yep, this is me as I look almost all the time... LOL No make-up and hair up in a hair clip... and notice my messed up eyebrows! lol Those are one of 2 things I am not happy about on my face... my eyebrows and my eyelashes.

Maybe the next few pics I put up with be with me fixed up (meaning hair fixed and make-up on and maybe even some decent clothes!) :D

At least my face isn't all swollen like it was a couple of weeks ago from that abcess under my tooth... and you can also see I've lost a few more pounds... not sure exactly how much; but it shows in a slightly less fat face! ha ha ha Double chin is deminishing! yay! I hate that thing! :D

I do know that I fit in one of my size 6 shorts! woohoo! Yay me! I have breastfeeding and child-chasing to thank for that... lol Okay, okay, I have been doing some crunches whenever I remember to; need to get my flat belly back... oh how I miss that! Notice I have some color to my face? Thanks to the little swimming pool we bought a couple of weeks ago! My girls also have some color! They look so cute with it!

Anyways, one of these days, I'll post a pic of me all made up and in a cute outfit to show my weight loss thus far... still more lbs and inches to go though!

You Drunk As Hell

You Drunk As Hell

Thanks to Jessica for this link :D

Exchange Accomplished!

I'm ever so happy to report that I was able to exchange my camera (that no longer accepted batteries... ? no idea why it stopped) for another at Wal-Mart! Of course, they no longer carry the same one (the Z740) so, I went with the P850. Its 5.1 MP but with a 12x optical zoom. Its the performance series camera (one of 3).

I love it as well! I had to pay the difference ($55). It is really nice... lots of cool features. I can actually use (buy) lenses and filters for it as well as a zoom flash! If I were to get them, it would be somewhere in the future as those cost $150/piece... but, its cool to know I can get them if I wanted to! And since its an EasyShare, I can still get the nice printer that goes along with it :D The compatible ones range from $119 to $500. I'm excited! I have a camera again! (Again, a HUGE thanks to Kimber! BTW, Kimber, I had sent you a little thank-you gift; well, to the address on my package, and it came back to me!)

Tooth Extraction

Background:
Back when I was living at home, as a teen (around 18yrs old), I had an amalgam filling in one of my upper, left side molars (I have these 'pits' that apparently is in the genes).
Well, before I conceived Wyatt, that molar fell out. I have it in my jewelry box. And my tooth has gotten progressively worse as the time went on but I really didn't have any pain associated with it.
The night of July 3rd, I could feel my cheek & gum swelling up while I was in bed. That next morning, my left cheek was swollen up. I look totally deformed. Of course, being that yesterday was July 4th, no dentists were open.
I asked Jeremy to bring me today (so, yes, he missed out on working today for me). This place in Palmetto takes walk-ins until 12pm and its also were Jeremy went for his extraction last year; the least expensive in the phone book. So, we left the house around 9am with kids in tow.
It took a while before I was called in, maybe 30 minutes or so. Then, I sat in the dental chair for probably another 30 minutes. A nurse took my x-ray and for some reason, afterwards, my cheek started hurting a little bit. I wonder if there was any connection between the x-ray or if the thing to take the x-ray did it...
So, this petite dentist lady comes in and talks to me. She tells me usually, if there's this much swelling, they do antibiotics first and then make another appointment for the extraction. The reason being is that the numbing agents sometime doesn't numb the gums if there's too much swelling. She said that she could try but if she reached the cut-off for the amount of numbing agent she could administer to a patient and I was still feeling pain, she'd have to stop and let me make a 2nd appointment.
I asked her if she could go ahead and try extracting the tooth while I was there since I wasn't sure how long it would be before I could go back... I didn't want to have to drive afterwards; esp. if I was in pain... plus, I have NO idea how to get there... LOL
So, that's what we did.
The numbing worked and she was able to remove my tooth... she broke it in 3 pieces to do that.
I have 2 prescriptions. One for Lortabs and the other for Clindamycin.
I just looked up on Kellymom.com for info on breastfeeding and taking these meds. They both are rated the same as far as being 'moderately safe'.
Anyways, I haven't eaten yet today; just water and juice. Supposed to have a soft diet for 24 hrs.
Yes, it hurts.
I can't wait for the swelling to go down.
And no pics... not just because of my vanity but because my camera isn't working. Jeremy said to just pack it up and bring it to Wal-Mart... good idea, huh? They're really good about exchanging stuff.

Stuff

Hmmm... my digital camera isn't working with the rechargable batteries that we have... I'm going to buy some new ones and see if the ones I have are bad; or not strong enough now... I'm crossing my fingers. If anything's wrong with my camera, I don't know how anything could have happened to it. Jeremy bought me a camera case for Mother's Day and I've been faithful about putting it in there after I use it.

I'm missing pics... Like, the other day, Wyatt pulled himself to his feet a few times; couldn't take pics of this feat :((

Trying to clean out our house. Have stuff in the trunk of my car and by the door to get rid of; plus more to go through. I'm in the middle of going through Wyatt's clothes... getting rid of anything under 9mths... which is quite a bit. Have to ask Tasha if she wants the bassinet back since he's getting to where he grabs the sides of it when he wakes up and pulls up. I guess I can set it on the floor though; I'll see. Also need to see if she wants the baby bath tub back (maybe sell on eBay?).

Doing crunches almost daily and not eating past 8pm. Some days, I'm doing other things like push-ups and leg stuff; while on the floor with Wyatt.

Our computer is crashing... depends on what we're doing on it. Like, it crashes or just the program crashes while I'm playing Sims 2; even when I disable custom content.

Been having lots of dreams; vivid ones, of course. Can't really type them up since I waited too long to record them... can't remember them well enough.

Jeremy didn't get that raise he had on that one check. They said it was a clerical error and took out the difference in his next check. Wonderful, huh? So, he only went to work one day last week, Monday, when they told him about it. He returned to work this past Monday and have gone everyday since. They didn't say anything to him; he was even supposed to work that weekend but didn't because he was proving a point to them. He's not worried if they fire him since he's in demand now and can easily find another job welding for over $20/hr now. He said he's trying to get the guys he works for to understand they need to pay their guys better or they'll lose them; they've lost like 9 guys to this one other company within the last month or so.

We're having company this weekend! Cherie and her girls and possibly mom will be here tonight and Angele and Shane will come up Sunday (more than likely). So yay! I'm glad I've been keeping the house somewhat clean... LOL I have to still pick up the girls' clothes but that's about it. Most clothes/towels/dishes are clean as of now :D woohoo! Go me! :D :D :D The bathroom and the refridgerator or both clean already! yay! :D lol

Alrighty, I think that's about it... gotta eat and finish up these chores.

Timer Pics

Okay, one of the hardest things that I've tried to do is to take family pics using the self-timer on my digital camera. You have about 10 seconds to press the button and get into position before it flashes; NOT an easy task.
None of them are satisfactory to me for one reason or another...
Here's a decent one but the girls aren't even looking at the camera... and Ursula's doing some weird thing with her eyes/face... LOL

Don't like myself in this one and don't like Calista's face in it either.

Now, this one could have been the best one if it wasn't blurry and if Wyatt would have been at least looking at the camera.

I messed this one up:( It would have been a pretty good picture of us if I wouldn't have been in the middle of talking!!! Oh well...

I took these the night before.
Would have been cuter if Calista's hair was fixed and if they would have been dressed better :D

Notice how motherly Ursula is towards Wyatt...

LOL and look at his face! lol

Mommy's Got Milk!

Sing it in the tune of Baby Got Back!

I like milk breasts and I cannot lie
you other babies can't deny
that when a mom walks in with an itty bitty waist and
two round things in your face
you get THURSSSSSS-TEE
cuz you notice her bra is stuffed
she's deep in double d's she wearing
im hooked and i can't stop staring
OH MOMMA i wanna get witcha
and drink your juicy pitchers
Enfamil tried to lure me
but only momma's milk makes me WAY healthy!

Ooo boobie's smooth skin
it always makes me grin,
so feed me, feed me,
cause you know it makes me happy
I see 'em bouncin'
With at least six ounces
It's sweet.
This treat!
Sit down mom, pull up a seat!
I'm tired of magazines,
sayin' formula is the thing
Ask the average baby and they'll say, "Snap!
Give it to me straight from the tap!"

So, Mommas (yeah!)
Mommas (yeah!)
can you NIP without any drama?
(HELL YEAH!)
Then nurse 'em, nurse 'em, nurse 'em, nurse 'em,
nurse your precious babes

Momma's got milk!
(Mom's sweet face over big full boobies)
Momma's got milk!
(Mom's sweet face over big full boobies)

I like 'em round and big
I'm like a little baby pig
I just can't help my self,
I'm eatin' like an animal
Bottles can't hold a candle
I wanna get that booju and slurp,
slurp it up slurp slurp
I ain't talking 'bout Playtex
Cause silicone nips are made for chumps
I like 'em real big and juicy
so give me your big bubbles
boobies don't give me trouble
rarely do I get a gas bubble
I'm lookin' at TLC's baby shows
Oh would you look at that...Oh, NO!
You can keep that mooju.
I'll keep on stickin' with booju.
A word to all you new mommas.
It's no trauma
It's not a big drama
I gotta be straight,
your baby can nurse
til the break of dawn
Now you've got it goin' on
Similac won't like this song
Cause they count on you to try it and quit it,
but you know those breasts make milk
It's not wrong. You're strong
Let's get that lactating on

So babies (squee!)
babies (squee!)
Do you wanna have your thirst sated?
Momma undo your bra, whip it out,
you make this baby shout

Momma's got milk!
(Mom's sweet face over big full boobies)
Momma's got milk!
(Mom's sweet face over big full boobies)

Yeah mommas.
When it comes to breastfeeding?
Size ain't got nothin' to do with your ability.
Bs? Cs? Double Ds?
You've got all your baby needs.

So they gave you a "success bag"
complete with a Nestle tag
But don't think that you always need
to get some free swag
Leave that sample up on the shelf
you can make it yourself
You can have some wine and sushi,
Your babe can have your milk!
Some docs wanna play that hard role
and tell you to supplement.
Momma toss it! Leave it!
The trashman can retrieve it!
So the security guard says, "Stop that!"
Well, I ain't down with that.
Cause my boobs are full
and this baby needs feeding,
It's his needs that I'll be meetin'
Some knuckleheads tried to be snide,
but the law is on my side.
I'm not feeding her in the restroom.
So stop with your doom and gloom.

So momma if your babe needs food
Go ahead and do what's good.
Sit down and feed that baby there
and let your milkies flow
Momma's got milk!

I just LOVE them!

Life's Getting Better

Great news!
Jeremy got a raise! woohoo! Yep! We're so happy! A $5/hr more raise!!! Maybe we can finally get a dental plan! lol AND start saving up! Saving for a rainy day, for our own place, etc... Gosh, we're come a long way! Guess you have to go through crap to really appreciate the good stuff (yes, I'm being vague; its intentional).
Jeremy bought me some jewelry too! I'll have to take a picture of them and post them later; I don't feel like doing it right now; both of my youngest are sleeping and I think I should probably take advantage of this time and rest myself!
And YES, I LOVE the jewelry he bought me! I won't even describe them yet :D
You'll have to wait to see pictures :) heh heh heh
Oh yeah, I've been doing some much needed stomach exercises this week; I just need to keep doing them...

Update on My Life

Alrighty, as far as American Idol is concerned, I got 3 out of the final 4 right :D woohoo! Go me! hehe

Right now, I think that Katharine and Taylor are the finalists. I'm still rooting and voting for Taylor. I do like Kat, I do... but, there's just something I really, really, really like about Taylor! He did so awesomely tonight too! I really enjoyed tonight's singing :D And Simon (whom I usually agree with and like) was also very positive.

Know what really sucks? The 3 mth pics I brought Wyatt (and had pics of the girls as well done) at Wal-Mart ended up being on bad film! Yeah, great. So, no pics... no digital ones either since I didn't do my usual thing and buy the disc... sucks for me. They owe me a sitting of course; just to figure out when to go. I mean, everyone's bdays are way past. At least I have this nice-ass camera though! :D woohoo!

Calista's last day of school is the 24th. Her cousins (my nieces) have their dance revue on the 28th, so, we'll be going down there to visit and see them perform. It'll be so cute! I'm going to have to remember to bring my video camera as well!

Then, when we come back, we're going to make plans with Jeremy's sister, Tasha, to go to the Lafayette Zoo. I know the kids will love that; plus, I get to debut my tandem stroller :D hehe

Speaking of my nice stroller, I took the kids walking down the road today; it was just such a pretty day. Calista rode her bike. I think it looks like she can go without the training wheels. I asked her if she wanted to try to ride without them and she said yes! But, I couldn't find Jeremy's tools... he finally picked them up (in his trunk). Go figure! lol And he still isn't home. He had to do his deposition (from his car wreck that happened in March 2005) and then stopped at his place of work... now he's out drinking with his foreman or something like that.

Anyways, I really need to get walking more often... like daily. I still need to lose 10lbs to get to pre-pregnancy but 35 to 40 lbs to get to where I want to be. I started doing push-ups and crunches whenever I think about it... I figure that's better than nothing.

And this house... I just want to do a clean sweep. I need someone to help me just clean it out. Jeremy might help... but, he'd want to throw everything away... there are a few things that I'm not ready or about to part with. I need to minimalize; for my own sanity. We have been living in this house for 5 yrs and accumulating stuff. What would be nice would be if Jeremy would build us a storage building; that would help immensely... but, I would allow it to enable me/us in accumulating/hoarding $hit. I'd only put things like outside toys/tools/chemicals/etc and some clothes and toys.

Wyatt cut his first tooth last Wednesday! But, poor baby, he's wanting to chew on everything! I told Jeremy its a good thing he has such a pleasant personality or it would be hell for us (and him)! Ursula still smothers (almost literally) him with kisses and hugs. She wants to be as close to him as possible; all the time.

It really warms my heart to see Ursula and Calista playing together... but, gosh, when they are at odds... it drives me crazy! I'm guessing it doesn't get any better until they are adults.

Here's me and my girls for Mother's Day :D Wyatt was napping at the time :(

This and That

Well, after witnessing Momma Cat give birth... I'm very much dismayed to say that she apparently lost her babies :( While me and the kids went visit during Easter holidays, she moved them. And I am guessing that something got them; like an opossum or snake, or something like that. They're gone :(( If I had only been here, I might have been able to prevent their dimise!

Okay, yes, I'm still into American Idol :D I'm still voting for Taylor Hicks and Chris Daughtry. I think that either Paris or Katharine will be gone tonight.

You know what I hate? I hate being behind on bills. And Jeremy doesn't care about paying them on time. I just don't get it. Why not pay when you have the money? They aren't going to go away or diminish over time; just the contrary. I'm trying be blaise' about it. He isn't and hasn't given me any money for a while now. He gave me $100 to go to visit my family... but, that was mostly for gas and I paid my brother $52 for the land taxes out of it; that Jeremy doesn't know. Not that I'm hiding from him... but, I just forget to tell him.

Its also irritating to have my neighbor's kid here all day long while she naps. If my kids go over there, she doesn't allow them in the house, so I don't allow her daughter in my house. Plus, she doesn't go out there watching them if they're over there... and they're close to a road/HWY; so, I really don't like them there... she also indulges them with candy. And its not like she has any other kids either. Just that one dd that lives with them. She also drinks too much too. Don't get me wrong, I talk to her and all... but, she's one of those people who just don't know when to leave! I have stuff to do at my house. I don't need to entertain her all the time.

Guess I'm feeling bitchy today. Sorry.

The little neighbor girl is nice and all... I have no problem with her... and like I said, I talk to her mom and all... its just irritating to me; here I am, with 3 kids, a house that constantly needs cleaning from the 5 inhabitants and she (the other mom) gets to lounge around while her kid is here; and I have to keep my eyes on them... which impedes progress in my house. Again, I'm glad my girls have another girl to play with; lord knows I would have LOVED to have someone next-door to play with when I was growing up.

Go Shorty, Its Ya Birfday

Yes, today I'm officially 33 yrs old.

I can't say that I feel badly about that. I mean, I kind of was down about turning 30 three years ago... but, not that bad. Just kind of weird leaving my 20's. But, upon thinking about it, I know so much more now... along with being a somewhat different person now then I was 10-13 yrs ago. Of course, I also have 3 lovely children now that I so don't regret having. I was just telling my sis, Cherie, last week "why didn't we think to have one child right after graduation so that we'd have each a teenager right now to babysit our younger children?"... LOL I'd have a 15 yr. old and she'd have a 17 yr old if we would have done that. How weird is that? To think that I could have a teen right now... when my oldest IRL just turned 7 yrs old!!! Wow. How different would my life be if that would have been the case.

Oh yes, Jeremy did remember (he's actually really good about remembering dates). He told me "Happy Birthday" before he left for work this morning. I don't know if he'll get me anything though. I don't expect anything. Plus, I know we're a little behind on a couple of bills; and that comes first (IMO). And really, I wouldn't know what to tell him to get me anyways. I mean... I'm not a 'needy' person. Usually, if I have extra money, I end up spending it on the kids or stuff for the house; but mostly on the kids.

New Hair Cut

Yep, I did it.
I let my sister, newly licensed beautician, free reign on my hair... except to leave some length. Well, she certainly exercised that! lol There were masses amounts of hair on the ground! And OMG, does it feel soooo weird now when I put my hands in my hair! Its like there's nothing there!
It will take a me a little time to get used to it... but, I'm liking it better now; esp. since she did the highlights.
I know it'll feel more comfortable in this frickin' heat down here... less hair, more air... :D I would maybe even go real short, but, Jeremy would probably have a conniption (sp?).

Our Babies

Good Momma Cat
She did not leave those babies from the time she had them yesterday until this evening! I tried to move her so I could put some newspaper under them but she wouldn't have it!
I had to wait for her to finally leave to do it.
When she finally left the first time, I not only put the newpaper down, but I took this sweet picture, with the sole white one in the middle :D There's 3 black and 2 black/gray tabbies.

Miracle of Birth

Momma Cat had her babies yesterday!

I knew she was close because when I went to get the mail, she followed me and was mewing at me... she's usually not too vocal. Her tail was up and she had a bloody show... I wasn't sure if she had started having them yet or not. Of course, she hadn't yet.

Here's pics of the birth of her first one :)

She must not have realized it was happening so fast because she had her first one right in front of us (we were on the carport)! You can see the little black head inside of her tail; she's licking him/her.
Here she is again, cleaning some more... baby is by her head.
See how close we all were? The momma cat was totally cool; she didn't freak out or anything even though we were all around.
Calista watching on the side of me and that's our little neighbor, Jude.
She's eating the afterbirth... little wet baby is right in front. That baby was walking all over the place! But Momma Cat kept her eyes on that baby. She's SUCH a great momma!
And finally, after finishing up the birthing process for the first one, she promptly brought the black kitty to the place she had her first batch of kittens last May.

Today, she has 6 of those sweet things :) One solid white one. I'm hoping the white one is a male, because I want to keep it this time! Last year, her only white one was the only female, so we gave it away!

The Age of Autism: 'A pretty big secret'

From the article:
But thousands of children cared for by Homefirst Health Services in metropolitan Chicago have at least two things in common with thousands of Amish children in rural Lancaster: They have never been vaccinated. And they don't have autism.

"We have a fairly large practice. We have about 30,000 or 35,000 children that we've taken care of over the years, and I don't think we have a single case of autism in children delivered by us who never received vaccines," said Dr. Mayer Eisenstein, Homefirst's medical director who founded the practice in 1973. Homefirst doctors have delivered more than 15,000 babies at home, and thousands of them have never been vaccinated.

Hmm.... interesting, huh? Please go to the link and read the entire article.

Me and Wyatt

Here's some pictures that Tasha took this past Saturday at her house.

We had just gotten to her house and Wyatt had been sleeping, just woke up and didn't like the bright sunlight! It was hard on his eyes, I guess :D hehehe

In one, you can see him gnawing on my finger :D
Then, of course, the other two were taken later in her house.

As you can see by the double chin, I still have lots of weight to lose... I'm 12lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight; which is great but I still want to lose more than that.
